MemoryWell’s network of professional journalists creates short and digestible digital life stories for people in Alzheimer’s care. We’re solving an important problem for Alzheimer and dementia care providers that they already know they have and yet haven't figured out how to solve well: capturing a person's identity to build empathy for their caregivers and improve their quality of life. Currently, most of the data is collected in hand-written questionnaires that sit collecting dust in binders. We digitize that system and synthesize the information in digestible, beautiful stories. UK studies show that life story telling can build empathy, reduce depression and improve the quality of life for those suffering from dementia and Alzheimer's. We put the person in person-centered care.
